Abstract: In accordance with section 18 of the Electoral Affairs Commission Ordinance (Cap 541), the Electoral Affairs Commission (“EAC”) submitted to the Chief Executive (“CE”) a report on its recommendations on the constituencies boundaries for the 2019 District Council Ordinary Election on 20 November 2018. The CE in Council accepted the recommendations on 4 December 2018 and, pursuant to section 6 of the District Councils Ordinance (Cap 547), made the Declaration of Constituencies (District Councils) Order 2018, which became effective on 1 March 2019 after the Legislative Council completed the negative vetting. The delineation of constituencies came into operation on 1 January 2020. For details about the delineation exercise, please refer to the abovementioned report, which is available at the EAC’s website (www.eac.hk).

摘要: 選舉管理委員會(“選管會”)根據《選舉管理委員會條例》(第541章)第18條於二零一八年十一月二十日向行政長官提交二零一九年區議會一般選舉選區分界建議報告書。行政長官會同行政會議於二零一八年十二月四日接納選管會的建議，並根據《區議會條例》(第547章)第6條訂立《2018年選區(區議會)宣布令》。有關宣布令在立法會完成先訂立後審議程序後於二零一九年三月一日生效，而有關選區分界於二零二零年一月一日起實施。有關劃界工作的詳情可參閱上述報告書，該報告書可在選管會網站(www.eac.hk)下載。
