3D Pedestrian Route Search

Description
3D Pedestrian Route Search API from the Lands Department has been enhanced to enable application developers to retrieve the 3D point-to-point pedestrian route search service across both 3D indoor and outdoor environments to help users access and navigate walking routes. This API is supported by open spatial data from the Lands Department, including the 3D Pedestrian Network and the 3D Indoor Network.
Important Notice on Map APIs
In order to maintain the quality of the Map API service, your application shall not invoke the API with large amount of requests within a short period.

The use of the Map APIs (including base map details) provided on this website is subject to the Terms and Conditions as well as the IP Rights Notice of LandsD Map API. You are required to include Lands Department logo on the map face and Copyright Notice to attribute Lands Department’s data in your map applications.

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Satellite Image (“the Satellite Image”) is prepared by the Survey and Mapping Office of the Lands Department of the Government. It contains modified Landsat 8 / Landsat 9 satellite images captured in 2024, which covered the entire Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area for reference of the public. Users should make their own assessment of the Satellite Image and are advised to verify the information therein before use.

Application of the Satellite Image is restricted by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Users shall refer to the “Data Use and Citation Guidance” at https://www.earthdata.nasa.gov/engage/open-data-services-software-policies/data-use-guidance#toc-licensing-and-copyright and “Acknowledging or Crediting USGS” at https://www.usgs.gov/information-policies-and-instructions/acknowledging-or-crediting-usgs respectively. Note:
API service will no longer supports user systems and client systems that are not compliant with the Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 protocol after 1 December 2023.
